I’m aware of my bias haha. Let it be known now I fucking love FF X and I’m not a fan of XII and I cant stand FF VII. But, I feel XII battle system is just sloppy. XIII is the perfect example of succesful innovation. But Some people erroneously think FF XII was good simply because it changed the game which is not the case. I would rather they stick to classic if they are going to fail at innovation. Change for the sake of change isn’t the right way, Yeah there are nostalgia fags that worship anything classic who wish to stay stagnant, but we also have the other side of the spectrum where people overzealously attempt to be “innovative” in a contrived manner, which breeds similar unsatisfactory results as the former ie: FF XII
